Without looking at any dimensions, i would put in under the top plate up front. With a revised top for FPV.

I did tests with the laser here and it work well on that material.

Is it longer than the original top plate? With the hooks on either side, looks like lots could be added.
Those where designed by the same guy who did the 3D printed canopy.
He can customize them with your name etc…
They than can be ordered from Shapeways (3D print company)
