Looks great.

Sure looks like it would be lot of fun! I just don’t know if I have the cad type of skills to be able to design something that I could make…

But who knows maybe someday I will have to give it a try!

Everything can be learn…
I am sure you know that since you do learn on each project you do.

I will have to learn how and what can be done on that thing… lol

If you need something… i will be glad to print it for you.

Another nice machine!

Looking great! I hope you’ll post a video of it in action.

HaHa…
That’s sure i will… I have made it move yesterday but was not thinking it was interesting enough to show.

Ok… got it printing last night…
Still more tuning to do… but here are some print i did.

Great to see some parts forming.
How many microns did you print the cube at?

It was at 0.2mm layer

I’m liking it!

May have to give you some of my bird armature design files to see how they look and fit.

Great to see some test parts. I’m wondering, does it smell much during the printing process?

I’ll let Eric reply to that but I did read that PLA often smells sweet when you are printing with it. If you printwith ABS it would smell, but it wouldn’t be sweet. Green PLA smells like pancake syrup.

I use PLA plastic.
There is no smell or fume compare to ABS.

I am changing my cnc…
Not happy with the level of precision it offer to me so i am going a bit smaller and with rails instead or round rods as linear movement…

Plan to put your current one up for sale? People have seen what you have been able to do with it, so you’d probably have interest.

Yes i do sell the one i already have.
But it’s kind of already sold… unless the guy don’t take it.

Need to be local since it’s huge …

Iast time i was sad not to have took the anodizing…
This one will be RED…

24x36 overall size.
But around 19x30 of cutting area.
All linear RAILS and high precision ballscrews…

And looks awsome.

I hope it will be the one…
