I’ve been spending so much time on my robot lately and thinking about how much time I spend in the a rather dreary corner of my basement…yesterday the humidity was so bad here water was condensing on the exposed waterpipe and dripping on my monitor… thought I’d post a pictureand see where other people spend their time…
I use my desk and bed for work. I have a nice 6 x 3.5’ office desk that has plenty of room for a bunch of stuff! I can post a picture later after I clean up a bit
I have three work areas. 1 one would be bedroom desk with access to all my tools. 2 would have to be my basement workshop with a giant workbench I built in shop class with access to all my dad and my tools, and the 3 would be my dad’s shed with access to all of his tools
Depending on the project depends on where I work, but most common stuff is done in my room. Pics? No problem!
I’m not so good at photo stitching, so here’s a short video walkaround. I’m much more in software development mode right now than robot building, but I’ll unpack everything and get back to it soon.
Servers are more software dev stuff than robotics but I may come up with an interesting use for a ton of horsepower when I get back in the robotics swing (video processing perhaps?)
About to get more messy as a tackle my first brazing attempts into a few forthcoming projects (expect to see future pictures of burns when the acetylene comes on)

Addendum - So Im sitting here looking at the workshops of all you weird computer scientists, roboticists, and the like and my wife walks over and puts this thing in my face
She was preparing dog food from hole chickens with various parts included. I dont know what exactly she does at work in her pharmaceutical company but she scares me at home After 10+ years I still dont know what I got myself into. Be careful of those chemists.
PS - Im the douc_e in the background telling her to give it a pulse which she was doing before the camera came on
