Your workspace...

Yes PowerEdges, nice and cheap  As for the rack, wives everywhere seem to have driven up the cost of reasonably sized racks. Not a single one will accept a full size 42U cabinet in their house and so a reasonable 24U or similar costs 4 times as much. Checking CraigsList every day…

The fire extinguisher was one of the first pieces of equipment brought into the robo lab. My soldering and electronics design skills made it essential. In fact anyone charging batteries of any chemistry should probably have one around. They are made for different purposes, but the safest one to get is for all three classes A, B, and C.

Very true!

So,are you going to show your workspace?

Yup, as soon as I receive that digital camera I ordered two days ago. Should be here in six weeks

Oh Duh
I forgot

PK I think is the winner so far. Very nice setup! Love the equipment and I have a few of those Digi-Key boxes my self.

Thanks Mike

Built it from scratch. Used 80/20 from mcmaster the rest i “borrowed” from work. The nice thing is its all adjustable. If i need to raise a shelf all I need to do is loosen some bolts and move and tighten. A couple of minutes and its done.

Agree! Look all those little drawers… makes me want to go clean…almost…

Man, I need a 'scope. Can I find something for less than $200??

Huh? This is a contest? What does the winner get? :astonished:

Well,if you do win something,i would be happy to show you my entertainment
system that i have next to my workspace

Like Promised:

small room occupied mostly by my furnace.

PS, I built that workbench in Woodworking class

Very Well Organized

Ya, well some ppl have really really slow internet conections (not me) so Id appreciate it if you would let others see the picture faster rather than having to wait twice as long for the picture you quoted to load as well as the original one.

Special needs issues.

What is that supposed to mean

It means special needs for people that have a slow connection

?? :open_mouth:

If the picture is coming from the same source URL, then the browser should simply render the same data in two places at once, rather than download it twice. An image can be quoted dozens of times on one page, and still only need to be loaded once, since it just goes into the browser’s cache, and is reused from there for every instance.

…although quoting a large image multiple times is sloppy, clutters the page, and is annoying to wade through it over and over again. You should refrain from re-quoting images for couresy’s sake, if not for transfer time’s sake.

I guess common sense isn’t so common.

lol
