ROOLZ!

Grasshoppa

Patience is a virtue. Says this guy. If I were you, I’d listen.

happy b-day
Now sleep off that hangover and get to writing! (The pulse writer told himself…)

Walter Brown?
Walter Brown?

What material is that board

What material is that board made of chris.

Did you make that or is it a purchased item?

Ok I just looked through

Ok I just looked through some of your blogs and I see its fabricated steel.

Fantastic finish

Put my order in for 3 :D.
Put my order in for 3 :D. Wow walter is looking very nice. You could eat off that robot.

So curvy and smooth! Sexy.

I especially like the housing for the speakers.

If you painted those ultra sound sensors, Walter would have two eery Siamese mini-me’s.

“Personality Chip”; that will make a few androids jealous.

You still have room for main power right? Motors and battery?

you got it, rik
The large rectangular hole in the main deck is for a 12v 12ah SLA. I just need to get around to welding the actual battery tray/ mount that will hang off of the frame. The motors fit as well and I even have some room to adjust for chain tension --I just have to get the brackets painted.

Wow!

Wow Walter; I can’t believe how much you’ve grown! I remember when you were just a little cart, you know. Driving Chris’ family around; remote controlled.

Hot HOT! HOTTT!!!
Hot HOT! HOTTT!!!

woooooowwww

very impresive, it is BIG and BIG lets you put on lots of things…

congrats…

What are you using for the
What are you using for the encoders? The QRD 1114’s?

Oddbot I think I got it.

Try this, my friend.

http://phz.in/1vug

No, the bigger ones.

For my line follow and my wheel encoders I am using the bigger ones from sparkfun.

I think the big ones and the small ones are about the same in performance, it’s just that the bigger one mounts a lot better.

Wow
That is one nice robot. Very proffensional.

major problem!!!

I see one problem from your video.

Ever since you painted Walter you’ve started to refer to him as HER and SHE. Maybe the choice of colour was less than well thought through? If you’d painted him metallic blue with flames and skull decals he would always have been called HIM and HE. Noone would have doubted his gender…

Besides that; I’m really looking forward to the complete write-up, which is a lot of work. He/she’s a beauty!!
