I like the design of the last. Supposed to be a Y6 or a Y4.
Six motor setup 3 on top and 3 botom
Four motor setup 3 on each top arm and one on the tail witch is under.
The Y6. but i do like the idea of the Y4. very interesting.
its made me think of a design that looks like the Chinook heli but with two other rotor sets underneath. could that work. with 4 rotors in total.
Y4 is interesting since you have less hardware to buy. 2 motors and 2 esc… 
There is something about a 2 rotor that is implemented in the Multiwii software:
You need to have tilt motor on each. Just like the “avatar” movie
The hexacopter is done for the design part…
Should be cut tomorrow if everything go as plan…!
I am working on a PCB to light thing on my Bird.
Mostly for the little Quad and Y6. But can be use on others.
It will be driven by the same Arduino that control the bird itself…
The PCB file are sent to be made… !

You don’t have much space between the blades and that can cause turbulence.
