After a bit of success with my first meltybrain featherweight robot "Take Cover", I decided to put the lessons learned into a design revision, so here it is: TRAC! (The Robots Are Coming!!).
Any updates on TRAC? I’ve been developing MeltyBrain robots for the past few years. Have you ever used BLHELI32 ESCs? I am thinking of switching to VESCs and would appreciate any advice and recommendations you have (e.g. things to avoid, manufacturers you like, etc). What battery voltage are you running? I am working with 12S, but am concerned about voltage spikes being created via “regenerative braking”. Thoughts or ideas?
