I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
I bought the Robot Shop Perimeter Wire Sensor Soldering Kit and I’m having problems with the Sensor. I’m not getting any signal from the Outputs of the Perimeter Sensor board. The problem is that I don’t have any clue where the problem could be. I know that everything is soldered correctly. My guess is that some of the parts may be broken but I don’t now how to check this (especially the ne555 or the lm324N) Could someone help me?
Can you confirm you received all of the correct components? We invite you to take clear photos of both the top and bottom of the two PCBs so we can nevertheless see if we can catch any issues.
Next, you need to ensure you have the right connections with whatever MCU you are using, and last, that you have the right code running.
Last, although less evident, you need to adjust the potentiometer on the generator board and ensure you are using the sensors on the sensor board correctly.
