Nearly completed biped with hip rotation. Wanted to have this kid done before RoboGames, but work and software issues held me up. If any of you guys are there hope you are having fun.
Sorry for the link but I can never get images to load, no matter what I do.
I actually have both control boards and software. With the RCBHV board I have the wireless unit and with the RCB commander software (if I can get documentation in english) I can use my wireless game pad for control. Of course I also have a bluetooth unit hiding some place in myapartment that I can connect to ssc board. I’ll see.
Thanks, I’m glad it wasn’t me. I’ve tried that thing again and again. Jim the robot is actually 99% your brackets, I just made a few modifications on them, not much though. The design comes from bots I’ve seem on your site and other bots I’ve seen. It started out looking like the waist rotation robot on your site and it has gone through at least 25 rebuilds. I can get a little nuts when I build things, now I’m working on an outer shell.
I’ve never actually used imageshack for image hosting, so I really don’t know why it’s so squirrelly. I’ve used Photobucket and haven’t had any problems.
Great Biped! Now we need a YouTube video of it walking.
imageshack has always worked for me. At times they can be slow but for the most part they work fine. You just have to be careful with the HTML code links and pick the appropriate one for the job. I usually always use the “direct link” code to post in the forums. If the image is very large, then I will use the thumbnail option.
I Need a head for this guy. Are you selling the skull heads that I’ve seen on your site. Are something close. Simply put, “Your Head will look good on my body”.
LOL! Man I wish I had a milling maching cause I would make several compies and sell them to anyone who wants one, but unfortunetly, I dont have one. I am expecting another one from my friend in the future.
If you are willing to pay around $300, I can design you one free of charge, but you will need to submit it to eMachineShop to have it made.
I had a friend make mine using the DXF files exported from eMachineShop, so it did not cost nearly as much.
I’ll take you upon up on the offer of the free design. I have a pretty good network of friends here in Chicago, I think through them I can get one done for pretty cheap, probably for free, I’m pretty good with the barter system. Send me the design and I’ll let you know what I do for you.
