The ground is not flat and has a 5% slope

Hello @protonjm and welcome to the RobotShop forum,
To select a motor for your project I recommend using this tool
It is not designed for the same type of project you mention but it gives you an idea of the torque the motors will need.
Using some of the values you mentioned plus some that I assumed I got that approximately 30Kgf-cm were needed, so I recommend you to use a motor with high torque. If you need precision a gear servo or stepper would be great, if that isn’t important a gearmotor should work as well, just make sure it has enough torque.
If you want to control it with an Arduino you will probably need a motor controller or maybe you won’t (depending on the motor you choose).
