My Story

You should be able to post the name of the town and even the street name (without a specific address) with out incurring any liability of any type.

As I already said, his street address name and phone number are publicly available on his local online directory. There is nothing legally wrong with posting that information if it is not with malicious intent.

And, you got a parcel on a Saturday? Saturday delivery would cost extra and usually only be available with next day or 2nd day delivery, which it wasn’t sent.

I am happy you got your stuff back!!!

Thanks!!!

www.whitepages.com search for James Williams.

Williams, J
Dupont Club Rd
Poca, WV 25159
(304) 769-0347

But there are 131 results for James Williams, WV…

The only result I found for Anita Baker was in Poca, WV which is over 200 miles away from the city jim found. Hmmmm… She must of came to visit at the right time.

Anita lives in Texas, or at least thats where the package came from. I have his street address and looked it up on google images. Just a normal house…

Hmmm Poca is 200 miles away form Poca… Weird! :open_mouth:

Flash Burns…

howdy… I’m from Texas.

No kidding? his screenname is Flash Burns?

Is or was… We were able to find an obit for a James Williams from Jan 07, but I dunno if it’s the right one. The time line wasn’t consistant either if I remember correctly… I’m not known for my accuracy when memory is involved.

The package came from Texas? Yet you sent it to him in WV? And she found the package in his house in WV? Huh…

My brain farted… Sorry… I meant to say the only result for her name was in Terra Alta, which is over 200mi away from Poca…

Flash Burns? Thought so.

maybe he was in the proccess of moving and thought it was a good way to scam the kid and not get caught…hmmm, we could come up with theories forever and never know the real truth. I think we should just make sure his identity and info is exposed to the forum members and other websites related to LM or the members and put this one to bed. The most important thing was to stop him (which we did - on our site anyway…), get the parts back (check another off the list) and expose him to the public (on the to do list).

Congrats on getting your parts back, im sure it was a rollercoaster you really wanted to get off.

nows the time to make sure this dosnet happen again. A) ask for a death cetificate from his sister or get the police to look into it, so we know for sure if he will ever strike again.

Something is still fishy. “ChameleonMan” still hasn’t given the name/address to where he origionally sent his robot stuff. Just never seems to get around to doing it. Hmmm…

Like I said, how did you get a parcel delivered on Saturday when it wasn’t sent express?
I smell that too.

Did I miss something? He got a parcel delivered on a Saturday with no rush order on it? Uh Oh, this dosent add up!

I get packages from USPS on saturdays. It is possible “she” used priority mail. It is much cheaper than UPS ground, or regular USPS. Sat. delivery is free with priority mail. Maybe “she” didn’t ship it out right away and sent it out a day or two late, which is why it took longer. 3 days + 1 day to process is normal for sending via priority mail. ChameleonMan needs to check the date on the package, thats all.

The package was sent by priority mail. I sent it to west virginia and it got sent back to me from texas. So it must have travelled at some point. The reason I have not posted the address I sent it to is I have not gotten permission from Jim. As soon as I hear it’s OK, I will post exactly where I sent the package. But the thing is, flash Burns told me to send the package to his work, and that’s where it got signed for. But I have his work and home info. Just give me the OK and i’ll do what you want me to.

I would say that if jim posted an address from white pages, then its ok to post his real info.

It’s ok by me if you post the address you sent the package to. Yes he was a customer, but I don’t have a dog in this fight so to speak.
