Motor Encoders required to retro fit on wheelchair motors

Hello,

I am looking for some advice on the possible options for adding motor encoders to 2x Electric Wheel Chair motors. I will paste some links to photos and dimensions at the bottom of this post.

I intend to use them with ROS2 Odometry
I use a raspberry pi
I have access to a 3D printer so its possible I can design a mounting bracket

I think thats my requirement list :slight_smile:

What type of encoder are you looking for? A magnetic encoder, an optical one?
