Thank you. 1. Is there any actual aerodynamic or safety advantage of the white canopy?
The canopy can help keep “internals” from flapping around, and provides a little protection, but it’s mostly aesthetic. No testing has been done to gauge the aerodynamic advantage.
I’m missing one spinner for a MT2216 T-motor. Is this an equivalent replacement? https://www.robotshop.com/ca/en/spinner-m6-propeller-adapter.html
Normally the package should contain the adapter - was it lost? You should contact us at [email protected] with your order number.
The shaft diameter of the MT2216 is M5, but the one in your link is M6.
Yes. It was lost. I will obtain the order number from my colleagues. Is there any other option just in case?
Where is the MultiWii Quick Start guide referred to on page 3 of Lynxmotion Electronic Configuration? I’m looking for the flight controller installation information. I don’t see it here.

MultiWii or Quadrno Nano Quick Start?
Quadrino Nano: http://www.lynxmotion.com/images/document/PDF/LynxmotionUAV-QuadrinoNano-UserGuideV1.1.pdf
MultiWii: http://www.multiwii.com/wiki/index.php?title=Multiwii_Beginners_Guide_to_Basic_First_Flight
We don’t offer any M5 prop adapters currently, so the easiest alternative would be an M5 nylock nut.
I found the M5 prop adapter. So, that’s fine. I was looking for information more on how the velcro can be used and how a flight controller could be mounted correctly (more mechanical stuff). The assembly guide doesn’t have the information.
Hi robotsri,
The frame was designed with a 30.5/45mm screw type flight controller as you pointed in an earlier post.
There is probably enough material there to accommodate a stick mount for your PixHawk.
Regarding the velcro, it allows you to mount the battery under the frame.
Just pass it in the slots on the bottom plate.
You will have to setup your PixHawk for VTail configuration as well.
All the best,
@cbenson and @dialfonzo Thank you . We have fastened the battery and I’m making progress with configuring the Pixhawk for VTail configuration. But I’m curious what these are for or how they are used since the hooks seem to be missing?
As dialfonzo indicated, those velcro straps are not something Lynxmotion / RobotShop provides.
