LR3, blue light blinks, pressing the reset button makes the yellow LED flash Part 2

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: For the past month or so, the blue light would rarely be solid, and we would just reset and hit cycle, and after that it would get back to normal for a few spins. A week ago, that trick stopped working anymore, and hitting reset is just triggering the yellow light to blink fast.

Hardware concerned: Litter Robot 3

Software concerned: Not sure.

Troubleshooting steps already taken: I have cleaned the litter completely, the DFI sensors, with qtips, the little metal contacts that connect the top with the base and everything.
The blue light blinks even if I remove the drawer.
I have unplugged the unit for a few days, and upon plugging it again, the symptoms are the same.

Additional information: I had the same issue a year ago: LR3, blue light blinks, pressing the reset button makes the yellow LED flash - #3 by djurk0wic.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hello @pfx,

Welcome back to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Since the cleaning didn’t help, the DFI sensor will need to be replaced so we will send you a new one under the warranty.

This video will show you how to replace it:

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:

Bonnet’s Pin:

Base’s Pin:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

Lastly, we will need the following:

1- Shipping address.
2- Phone number.
3- Serial number of the base that was sent to you last year.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,
