Hi, sorry to revive an old topic but I’m having exactly the same problem as above except my night light is fine. It started after cleaning the robot and changing the soft bits that the globe sits on. We’ve taken the pinch plates out and made sure they are clean and touching each other but we still have the flashing blue light that changes to a fast flashing orange light when you press reset then back to blue flashing light when pressed again. Litter Robot support have not been helpful so far, taking three days to suggest what we had already done then not responding again. I would really appreciate any help - would changing the DFI sensor be the next step?
Thank you
Hi @milbob,
If you tried this troubleshooting (Litter-Robot III Open Air - Blue Blinking Light) and it didn’t help, then yes, replacing DFI sensor would be a next step.
You can buy it here: https://www.robotshop.com/uk/litter-robot-3-open-air-dfi-hardware.html
You can use this video to help you replace it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD3dsJsVVsc
If you are still in warranty please advise.
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I bought my robot from the Robot Shop in February 2018, is it still under warranty?
