Litter-Robot III Open Air - Yellow and blue blinking lights

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering:

I bought two LRIII last october. Two days ago I saw that one of them has the yellow light blinking very fast (it was the first time that I’ve seen that light flashing like that), so I turned off the robot and disconnected from the electricity and then I turned on again and the robot just does that: the initial cycle never happened, no rotation, just the blue light was blinking (even with the waste drawer empty), so I pressed the “Reset” button and then blue light switch to the yellow light blinking very fast (it never switch to red light… it doesn’t matter how much time I waited), if I press again the “Reset” button, the yellow light switch to the blue light. The others buttons (Cycle and Empty don’t work).

Hardware concerned:

Software concerned:

Troubleshooting steps already taken: I’ve read the troubleshooting related with the Anti-pinch safety feature, and I’m already sure that the two pins are clean and are touching each other continously, but the problem remains.

Additional information: One month ago, the night light stopped working… in that moment I thought that was just a problem with the led light and I did not pay attention. But now, I wonder if this problem could be related with the new BIG problem. Have you experienced something similar? Could you please help me?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi there,

If the yellow light blinking fast always end up with a Blue blinking light, the issue is mostly related to the DFI sensors.
Let me know if the unit is still under warranty so we can proceed accordingly.

Concerning the night light, it is possible that the unit has the Night Light deactivated. Simply push and hold the power button to turn it ON or OFF.
Let me know if this helped.
