Looking for someone to build a 3D model of the CH3-R

wat advertisment for you

please tell us to movie we wont tell

I will give you a hint about the plot… It has good guys, bad guys, robots, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. LOL

Ooooh! THAT one!

Sounds like The Matrixnator :stuck_out_tongue:

(matrix+terminator)

Will the robots do something important in the movie, or will they just be in the geeks lab? There making the second transformers! :open_mouth: I found it!

Hmmm, sounds like tranformers to me , but its not lol

hmmmmmmmm, there sure isn’t a lot of those type of movies :unamused:

Yea,i was just thinking that same exact thing (:

who ever makes the model, shouldn’t they get an award?
Like some money,or Lynxmotion Parts?

The movie will be making a large profit. And they will have the model in the movie. So it would only be fair if the model maker gets some sort of payment for helping them make millions

Yeah! without the robots they would have make like ten bukcs! now with the robots 8) millions!!!

Well I wouldn’t go quite that far, but it’s an honor to have any part with a movie production no matter how small. For sure the Lynxmotion name will be in the credits at the end of the movie.

This is very exciting indeed!

yeah! I can’t wait to see it in the credits!

Exciting! :open_mouth:

Nick - nice job some tiem when I have spare time I will send the other models I have for most of the lexan parts. I have been having a hard year with family and stuff. Not much tiem for playing or posting.

So I have been a little slow to get some requested clips done.

the first is a simple swing around with lines only

the second is the same with a shade and line model.

would love to hear some ideas on making these better and more interesting. Just keep in mind it must be a loop. And no I will not spend 30 hours making them look like they are walking. well maybe, if they gave me the movie’s robot props when they were done

Jim, I emailed these to you but wanted to make sure they got through. let me know

Oh come on guys a little direction would be nice. let me know how to make it better.

I have asked the movie production place, but have not heard anything back on it yet. It’s be cool to see some matrix like characters flying down the screen on one side. I have no earthly idea how to do that. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nick can you render that with a chroma key type background?

Nick,

Do you have PhotoWorks?

If so, I think it would look best if you were to assign materials and have each frame rendered.

If you don’t have PhotoWorks, or the time to do that, I could do it one night this week.

Just let me know.

Webmistress,

I have the assembly files, but its is upwards of 12MB which I can not email. any ideas?

EddieB, t0mills,

I am not too savvy with animation and I do not recall seeing a “chroma key type background” option but I will give it a shot. I have photoworks on my personal machine but it is running 2005 and the .asm is 2006. I had to rebuild the assembly in 2005 just to animate. Now I am having trouble keeping material properties, every time I change a setting it has no effect. I have never seen such a glitch, though I must admit that for my use I rarely change a material.

I would be happy to send the assembly but again the zipped folder is 12MB

Any tips would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I removed the ssc32 from the model and will be sending it shortly to lynx for addition to the model library
