I have exactly the same issue with the robot turning about half way then stopping. I have to disconnect it from the power socket and then it continues to turn. The timer after usage by the cats works perfectly tho.
My order number was #951436 - product “Litter robot RB-Ltr-102”.
Hello @fredi7081,
Welcome to RobotShop community.
We are sorry to hear that you are having the same issue with your Litter-Robot.
Does the yellow light blink fast or slowly?
Are there any other blinking lights?
Sincerely,
the yellow light is flashing slowly but repeatedly. This issue also doesn’t happen every single cycle but it happens frequently. After. a few minutes all lights are flashing after one another blue then yellow then red.
Hello @fredi7081,
Thank you for your reply.
These are two different issues.
1- Slow blinking yellow light before - during - or even after the cycle… this is an issue with the bonnet.
2- Blue>Yellow>Red blinking lights… this happens at the end of the cycle or even without the cycle rotating?
If possible, please provide us with a video of these issues so we can have a better understanding.
Sincerely,
Hello @fredi7081,
Thank you for sending us the video, we can see in it that the robot has stopped mid-cycle with a slow blinking yellow light.
This is an issue with the bonnet.
But at the beginning the 3 lights were blinking too.
Did you move the globe recently to clean it?
Are you using the original adapter and plugged directly to the wall?
Sincerely,
we usually don’t move it around however the cats might step on it from time to time. We also use the original power cable connected to the power socket yes. Is there a way we can fix it ourselves?
Please test if the night light is interrupting your cycle. Cover the light sensor which is located under the power button. If the night light turns on and the cycle is interrupted, then your bonnet needs to be replaced.
It is possible that the night-light is not even working, in this case, please remove the power from the robot and unclip the bonnet. Inside the bonnet, you will see 2 wires connected to a small circuit. Make sure the wires are well connected to the circuit.
If that is working fine, then the problem is probably with the connection between the base and the bonnet. Have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyUuSGSgn1A&t
Also, there are two connection metal pins between base and bonnet. Some customers use WD-40 to clean them to make better contact.
Please tell us how this goes.
After that we can check the 3 blinking lights.
