Litter robot 4 (lr4) won't power on

litter robot 4 (lr4) won’t power on
no lights will come on
hard resets (3 second button push, or 60 second unplugging) do not work
power supply will power other electronics
don’t have a voltmeter
used a thermal camera to check:
power supply (is warm)
circuit board (is warm)

any thoughts or suggestions?
