Also I noticed before that issue that often my litter during its cycle would stop at some point and stay in whatever position the globe is with the orange light flashing. I had to unplug and replug many times to have it work properly again.
Is there anything that can be done concerning that issue as well please?
For the yellow blinking light, this one: Litter-Robot III Open Air - Yellow Blinking Light. It would be good to know if the yellow light is blinking slowly (once per second) or quickly (twice per second). You can send us a video of the issue so we can confirm this.
So I got it to cycle and it blocked with the flashing orange light.
After unplugging and replugging now it’s stuck in the same position with the blue light flashing.
What we see is that globe rotated too far which activated anti-pinch pins (fast blinking yellow light which turns to blue blinking light when RESET is pressed).
This can be caused by three things:
If you recently disassembled the globe and lost or mixed up the magnets inside the globe it would explain the problem
Hall-effect sensor inside the base is defective and base cannot detect position of the globe properly. This is the most common problem.
Wrong or defective power supply used (this rarely happens)
This happened at some point so I disassembled the litter and cleaned it thoroughly. But even after that it continued. So I suppose the problem is option 2. What can be done please? And what about the blue light flashing? Is there anything that should be changed to repair it?
In this case, we recommend replacing DFI sensor (to solve blue blinking light) and Hall-effect sensor (to solve problem with cycle). We also recommend replacing anti-pinch pins.
