i like any chess robot.
if I have to pick my favorite robot that will be Abe Karim’s Amber (the predecessor of Predator drones) that started what maybe is the most infamous robot application and combines my interest in robots and aviation all the same 
I am quite a fan of Marvin from the Hitchhikers Guide, but I would have to say that my personal favorite is my first Arduino stupid-simple line follower.
The Lynxmotion A4WD1 v2 robot seems cool but I haven’t used it, but want it.
Robots or not, battlebots got me hooked. I love them all.

My favorite is the roomba bot. What will popularize robots is their low cost, ease of use and their ubiquitous presence. Roombha’s popularity indicates that humans prefer mundane everyday tasks to be done by a robot. I think we should rate the most useful robots and coolest robots separately.
