Unitree’s H2 represents a new humanoid platform. While Unitree has no plans to discontinue the H1‑2, the original H1 is likely to be phased out as the H2 and H1‑2 co‑exist. The H2 uses upgraded joint designs, higher efficiency actuators and refined control systems, whereas the H1‑2 continues as a stable option for developers and researchers.
