Hi given a motor and a controller, the motor must be free to rotate if no throttle is given to it. I got a Cytron 25A to control the motor and am wondering if connecting an Arduino instead of the factory potentiometer is the thing that can deliver what I need. I know nothing about arduino but the controller give it 4 pin and I already have couple of arduino. The goal is to set the motor free when no signal is sent. I get that to do so the circuit must programatically be open but the logic and the implementation of it is a new realm of knowledge in which i hope to be helped to getting start with.

Hi after some lecture I understand that the Cytron25A is doing dynamic braking. How to bypass that ?
