has either wheels or track, powered by either a DC motor, DC Linear Actuator, or a

Stepper Motor?

The best thing to do would be to decide what type of robot you would like to do and then gather as much information as you can bout that ty of robot. Feel free to discuss you robotic project in the forum. There you will be able to find advice on how to proceed.
