I found a video of the Yellow Drum Machine on the main page of You Tube. What would have happened if that wouldn’t have happened?

Iv been intereseted in robots for awhile, so i just typed:
"How to build and programm a simple robot" on GOOGLE
I found this through N.A.S.A.
I was looking at the robots at N.A.S.A. and saw a link that lead me here. Still want to work their.

I made it up because I thought it was a cool and somewhat funny name that could be interpreted in different ways… so I bought it, and then I visited it. It was just some Apache test page at the time.
(Sorry, lame post, but it is unfair if I cannot participate in the topic
You are all so cool for being in here, hurray!

i was busily working on my num-chuck skills “trying to be cool”, when someone said, “Your a dork, there is someone who makes wierd stuff like your - let me send you a video” so i got a video link from someone - and it led me here…
where i have been earning “geek street points” ever since - although i’m not sure what they are good for… can’t buy beer or cats with em’

I was on solarbotics.com and I saw a google vid of yellow drum machine (it was on there because of the tread set it used) and decided to check it out.

I saw www.letsmakerobots.com written on the white “fences” used by Fritsl in the wall racer videoes. I think I saw the videos through Makezine or Hackaday
As some might have noticed I liked the idea, and even though my lousy mobile phone shots probably never will end upon the frontpage of a high profile blog, I make sure that most pictures have the URL. (actually it’s just the piece of paper I wrote it down on when I saw the wall racer video, and the paper has been lying with the rest of my robot equipment since)

Saw a video of the Little Drum Machine, looked pretty fun!
Finger trouble
I found it by accident. I was looking for how to change the CD player in a Xara Picasso and I accidentally typed "robot".
Only mild confusion
Very easy to type that in, can imagine it happening since there are videos like this and this out there
Totally
I KNOW!
BTW those clips are the best. The C4 one has been on British TV. The 2CV one is pure genius.

Strange, since there is no odd info here. None.

I was looking for an alternative to AVR for a robotics project, all my old stuff is pure logic, the old Mark Tilden BEAM robotics and came across Picaxe which lead me to LMR and the YDMII.

Once upon a time I had a small blog (with two entries) about a robot I was doing for a competition. It featured a post about me trying to figure out the LM406FB electronic speed controller and one day I got a mail from this crazy old man who told me, that he was building robots and had that same speed controller but didn’t know quite how to control it properly.
The days went by and the old man was getting more and more annoying and punking me to get some robots done instead of just thinking about getting them done. One day he told me that he had made a web site that was supposed to be a place where we could share robot ideas and experience - it was nothing fancy, he told me, I was just supposed to write some stuff about the robots I had done or give some tips on how to get into robotics. I thought I’d give the site a go and posted a LEGO line following robot I was building at the moment.
Then one day the old man started working on this strange new robot using yellow treads for driving…
