Toby1 is a hexapod robot that uses a crank tripod gate motion to walk, it is a multi directional bot that can reverse its direction with touch sensors. Also has some snazzy blue eyes that i wired wrong :D but still look good!
Wonderful gait. Wish the gearbox version had worked out. When are you going to add another motor for turning? I thought it was 3d printed when I first saw it. Nice work.
Thanks! Yeah it was a shame about the gearbox, it really was better suited, they just take a lot of time to make, once i get my hands on a 3d printer they will be better and faster!
My next walker will have turning for sure, was just testing out both kinds of gaits before committing to such a project. Regards Raz.
