I’m working on a research team that is studying how drones react when one of the motors stop working. From what I’ve been able to find online, there aren’t any available solutions that let you turn off power to an individual motor (because why would you want to do that?). Someone suggested using a spare radio channel to activate some sort of cutoff switch to the motor.
Does anyone know of any existing drones/tools/solutions that could help with temporarily cutting off power to one of the motors? Perhaps something less invasive than interfering with the motor cables and implanting my own electronics, but I’m open to all ideas?
