CNC Machine

What? You didn’t print any wheels?

Alan KM6VV

Not yet…

You want to blame the modeller. Lol

Doing a new enclosure for CNC Driver…
Not for me.

Great enclosure, however it those are cable reliefs for the stepper drive cables, then I’d comment that I’d rather have connecters on the driver box end, and wired motors on the other end.

Another point that may not apply, I usually build 4-axis drive boxes, just in case. I often use a 4th axis on the mill, and although I only need two axis on the mill, you never know…

But still, very nice!

Alan KM6VV

That last cable strain on the right is for the 4th axis …
It’s a cheap enclosure, so i didn’t put any connector it will have wire trait to the controller, no junction (Except the soldered and shrinked close to the motor…)

I will probably do a design to all include inside with connectors and may sell them.
But that one was just fast-cheap …

I’d recommend using a db9 or db15 connector on the drive box.
What drivers are you putting in? Geckos?

Alan KM6VV

I have not choose the driver or anything that will be inside.
I do an installation of a CNC from the guy who sold me mine…

He sent me the driver (China individual driver for 3 axis)
And a C10 cnc4pc card and a 36vdc power supply.

Oh that’s right. You can just build that in.

Alan KM6VV

Print Print…
Those where took from www.thingiverse.com and printed.

Worthy of its own thread… if you get it up and running well, there will certainly be many people referring to the post. Can you also post some specs?

Yes, once it’s more clear as a project i will open it’s own thread.
It’s a TinyDelta as i called it…

Delta 3D printer, that’s new!
