Hi @Wanyfer and welcome to the forum!

It seems that the DFI sensor needs to be replaced.

Are you still in warranty period?

I dont think so as it was purchased november 2017 and delivered 1 of december 2017…

But would a DFI sensor issue not allow the unit to rotate at all?

@Wanyfer usually it would only blink blue until you replace the DFI sensor.

If your version is not a Connect version of the robot, than you can buy new sensor here: https://www.robotshop.com/uk/litter-robot-3-open-air-dfi-hardware.html

You can use this video to help you replace it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD3dsJsVVsc

Feel free to ask anything else.

I just purchased a DFI replacement kit but my question is why does the DFI stops the globe from rotating at all? and is there any way i can bypass it while i wait for it to come or do i have to go back to scooping?
I dont mind having to manualy start a cycle i just dont want to go back to scooping

Hi @Wanyfer,

As far as we know, when this issue happens, there is no bypass. We hope that you will receive new DFI sensor quickly and that it will work again!

Its a really odd design stopping the globe from rotating just because it cant detect if the waste drawer is full or not

I’ve the same problem as Wanyfer.
I’ve buyed the Litter in Sept '19.
The replecement of DFI sensors is the only solution?
