Only the EDU versions of the R1, G1 and H2 humanoids, as well as the H1 and H1‑2, support optional dexterous hands and additional wrist degrees of freedom. While Unitree’s hands are modular at a hardware level, not all configurations are guaranteed to be field‑upgradeable. Compatibility depends on the specific humanoid model, version and hand option. Upgrading may require ensuring the appropriate connector is used, that cable lengths are correct, and sometimes making mechanical changes to the arm. It is therefore strongly recommended to purchase the robot with the desired hands installed at the factory or confirm viability before ordering.

I saw on roboshop that they offer revo 2 basic hands for the unitree H2. Other shops only show it as compatible with R1 or G1. Does Roboshop add a flange or adapter to connect them to the H2 or do they fit by default and other shops forgot to update their compatibility information?

ndeed, there are both the REVO 2 Basic and Tactile hand options for the H2:
These really should be ordered with the H2 to ensure compatibility. Unitree has indicated to us many times that installing functional hands after purchase can be problematic.
Note that the H2 Basic cannot use functional hands, only the H2 EDU.
Hope this helps and happy to address any questions you have,
