Box detection and carrying robot?

Hi!

I am working on a wheel robot, it should detect a box and the carry it. Enclosed environment will be okay. OpenCV can be used for detection of box, but i am confused how can robot find path towards that detected box ? How it can reach that box ?

Please tell me how can i do that.

Could you give more details about what you have in mind?

As you mentioned OpenCV I assume you are going to be using a camera module, is it going to be placed on the robot? Or will you be using a camera overhead?
