It seems to really like its
It seems to really like its personal space. Very well put together. I may have to take the acrylic top idea for my drum machine.

Nice! You will have to make 2

Nice!

You will have to make 2 though

- And I think that if you make 2, you will encounter a problem / something that has to be optimized; One thing is puching dead objects out… But if 2 is having the same aproach; Head on, they will just stand there, rubbing tyres…

I made some once, and I found out that a sensor at the back can be a good thing; If one is atacked from the back, it can turn around and slide the other off, instead of just banging head forward.

Looks cool, nice job!

That is awesome! Good to see
That is awesome! Good to see a minisumo running around. Hope you get to compete with this one. Great vireos too.

Cool
Cool bot! I was thinking of making one with picaxe. What materials are you using for the robot base and front?

** for base and front i used**

for base and front i used 3mm expanded PVC

btw this bot is only a lol minisumo experiment , no way to engage in a contest i think…

some ideas are cool but it’s far from optimisation for the purpose

nice job
I wanna make 2 sumos. Have an idea for em. Good job on this guy.

Very cool!
VERY NICE!! This bot looks like it might do well in competition. I have a Stamp-based minisumo I need to post here someday soon. When I lived near Denver Colorado I competed with it for awhile and it did okay until smarter "wedge bots" started showing up. Now my minisumo is "retired", waiting for me to someday find a use for him. In this part of Wyoming where I live now there is no one to compete with :frowning: It is great fun though if you have a robotics club nearby where they compete with these things! Good work - thanks for sharing it with us!

this is Great, and neat
I always like robots with a strong temperament

Nice and tidy.

This is a bot with an attitude. Not the sort of robot you want on your dining table

I like your composite photos. Good idea. It keeps the page nice and tidy.

Nice bot  I’m trying to

Nice bot  I’m trying to avoid comparing everything to Wall-E these days, but this one really reminded me of the OCD cleaning robot in Wall-E

Dan

great sumobot
great project, really. Fast and very efficient in cleaning the area. And very cool mounting. I like the behavior in general, very fun to see

awesome
Now send that over to my house so I can mark off my floors and keep the kids toys away.

** consider that in those**

consider that in those videos the batteries was 70%

when batteries are at full charge it’s more aggressive

even more exciting

Don’t let the two in the same arena. Give them adjoining arenas. And all kinds of crap to push out. Into eachothers area. That could be fun to watch. More bots would be even more fun.

The entire room filled with hexagonal cells, like a honeycombe. Each cell inhabited by a busy beebot frantically trying to keep its cell empty.

That robot from WALL-E

This robot reminds me of that one robot from WALL-E that cleans everything. Like they’ll be the tinyest thing over the black line and your robot freaks out and attacks it. haha this is great.
