Hi everyone,
We are a team of engineering students working on our final Diploma Thesis, and we are on the verge of completing something we believe can truly improve our urban environments.
The Mission: We are building an autonomous robot designed to navigate city streets independently to detect vandalism and property damage in real-time. Our goal is to help cities stay cleaner and safer by using AI-driven detection and smart navigation.
The Progress: We’ve spent countless hours on the software architecture, the chassis, and the AI training models. The good news? We are almost there! The robot is nearly finished, and the initial tests for autonomous navigation look incredibly promising.
The Final Piece of the Puzzle: To make our robot fully operational and safe for public spaces, we need high-precision spatial awareness. Specifically, we need to integrate a 4D LiDAR L1 PM sensor. This piece of hardware is crucial for the robot to "see" its environment in 4D, allowing it to navigate complex city obstacles autonomously and reliably.
As students, we have self-funded the project as far as we could, but this specific sensor is beyond our current budget. We are looking to raise the remaining funds to purchase this final component and bring our project to life for our final presentation.
How you can help: By supporting us, you’re not just helping us pass our degree—you’re supporting a vision for smarter, cleaner cities.
Donate: Even the cost of a coffee brings us one step closer to the LiDAR sensor.
Share: If you can't donate, please share our story with tech enthusiasts or urban development groups!
Thank you so much for your support and for believing in the future of urban robotics!
