Hi, this is my first post here so it may not be at the right place, also english isnt native so if it appear that i am dumb, bare with the fact that i even try !
this question is about the Cytron 25a controller that i just received yesterday, it is to be on a wheeled vehicule and while i have a bunch of arduino, i’m using the potentiometer for the sake of testing
my issue is one of power delivered, the Cytron replace the original AlfaWheel 30A YK31 controller that came with the 1000W 48V motor
as of now both controller dont deliver enough power, that is, if I plug the battery pack directly, it’s pretty strong and this is my baseline as of what to hope with the right controller
so to be short, the vehicule have 4 x 12V22A to get 48V22A of SLA, and when plugged directly on the 48V26A rated motor with a relay, the power is there as my calculation would tell. The issue is that with either the Cytron or the AlfaWheel controller, it seem like we get a third of the rated power, the vehicule is as slow as an electric wheeled chair. That can’t be the end of it, i am at the end of the budget tho and any advice to tweak one of those two controller may help
