The litter robot is no longer operational. when powering on the Blue light flashes, upon reset yellow light flashes quickly. We don’t know what else to do to troubleshoot
We have tried everything as per previous topcis - now we have unoperational litter and 4 deperate cats
We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with one of your Litter-Robots.
Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.
This issue indicates a defective DFI sensor and it needs to be replaced.
This video will show you how to replace it, please check it and let us know if you are able to do it by yourself or not:
You also need to check the Anti-Pinch pins in case they were corroded and require replacing as well.
The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.
If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe, and the drawer.
It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.
Note: If the pins were dirty or rusty, you can take them out and clean them with WD-40 and sandpaper.
Video seems to be clear enough to do it myslef, indeed we have cleaned the pins and check as per list recommender for another customer but with no luck
