Hello @AGUS,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with one of your Litter-Robots.

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

This issue indicates a defective DFI sensor and it needs to be replaced.

This video will show you how to replace it, please check it and let us know if you are able to do it by yourself or not:

You also need to check the Anti-Pinch pins in case they were corroded and require replacing as well.

The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.

If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe, and the drawer.

This video will help you locate them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJkQTXxkXXA

It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.

Note: If the pins were dirty or rusty, you can take them out and clean them with WD-40 and sandpaper.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hello @AGUS,

Thank you for your reply.

We have located your order and you are covered by the warranty.

Did you check the videos that we have sent?

Are you able to replace the DFI sensor by yourself?

What is the status of the Anti-Pinch pins after cleaning them?

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Video seems to be clear enough to do it myslef, indeed we have cleaned the pins and check as per list recommender for another customer but with no luck :frowning:

Pinch are ok I guess but after taking them in and out not the same perfect shape :frowning:

Very well, in this case, we can send a new pair of Anti-Pinch pins along with the DFI sensor.

Please provide us with your shipping address and the serial number of the defective robot, you can find it on the back of the robot.

Awaiting your reply.
