O.k. so I need help.
My set up is as follows:
1x SSC32
2x Xbee 2.5s
1x Xbee Explorer USB to my computer
1x Droids XBEE db9 connector (here is a link to the datasheet: droids.it/data_sheets/990.006%20datasheet.pdf)

So far I have set up both my XBEEs, one as a router and one as a controller. I have tested them and they seem to be working fine ie they are paired and sending information back and forth. Yet when I try to send information to the SSC32 using lynxterm…I get nothing. I.e. the green LED on the SSC32 stays lit thus it is not receiving data. I had another SSC32 up and running with a bluesmirf to ttl no problem so I don’t it is any of the common problems,(baud rates are correct, com port is correct, power is on) I’ve checked those. Here is a picture of my setup:
I know this is very little information to go off of. I will post more test results and pics tomorrow. But for starters:
- Has anyone used a Droids DB9 board on an SSC32 or Botboard succesfully?
- The stats on the droids board say that it outputs 3.3V signals. Is this too low for the SSC32 to read over the DB9? If so should I go directly to TTL? That seems to defeat the purpose of buying the nifty board…
Thought? Thanks.
