Xbee wireless communication

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me with how to program two xbees to communicate with each other. I have had trouble with not being able to keep the connection or establish the connection. I have both series 1 and 2. I keep having (for series 2) the end device restarting and now when I connect it to the xbee shield (to arduino) it doesn’t blink green anymore, just stays green.

When I had the xbee series 1 going, I was able to get the Rss and TX to light up on the xbee usb adaptor but the rx would not blink (meaning there is communication). Any ideas??

The behaviour of your XBees seems strange. We recommend updating their firmware to the latest version using X-CTU and making sure the communication parameters are working properly.

You could also do a loop-back test on your USB-to-serial adapter in order to ascertain it is working well.
