Xbee modules help

HI, well, the free day is arriving, so i thought i'd go to sprakfun and fill my cart.

what exactly do i need to have wireless COM betwen two microcontrolers, or PC, to micro controller, or even stand alone Xbee's?

I have these items in my cart:

- USB Xbee explorer http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8687

- 2 XBee 2mW Series 2.5 Chip Antenna http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8691

- Breakout Board for XBee Module http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8276

- also a 3 axis acelarometer, but that has nothing to do with the Xbess :)

is this all i need?

can the USB explorer be used as a breakoutboard, in case i dont want to comunicate with my computer?

i will be using at first, my computer and an arduino, and then two arduinos, and no computer.

thanks, have a merry x-mas, and a happy new year!
