XBee headers on the Rover Shield

Hello all!

I have a DFRobotShop Rover Shield (which came with the “Mini DFRobotShop Rover Kit”).

I have already (and succesfully!) used the rover with an IR remote control. It’s specified on the shield that there’s XBee Headers. What are XBee headers? Is it only a slot to put something else in? What do I need to be able to control my rover via the XBee stuff?

The DFRobotShop Rover Mobile Robot Shield includes two rows of smaller sized pins (2mm spacing) which can be used with XBee modules, Bluetooth Bee modules and most other Bee format.
Note that if you opt for an XBee module, you need two modules; one on the robot, and the other connected to a computer via USB to XBee breakout.
