Xbee for Nano - Gravitech - Arduino

Hi,

I purchased 4 XBEE-4NANO’s. My understanding was that I would apply 7-12v to the green terminals (via a 6xAA battery pack) and would be able to power the XBEE-4NANO, an Arduino NANO, and an Xbee module.

Four out of four units fail to power-on via the battery pack. When I apply power via the USB connector, all is good. The batteries have been verified. The Nano has been verified. The board seems to power-on when voltage is applied via the USB port. No voltage is delivered to Vin on the Nano when
a battery pack (or power supply) is attached.

Any pointers?

In order to use the Vin signal form the screw-terminals, you will need to jump the solder-jumper called Vin towards the middle of the board. You can do this by appliting a litle bit a solder to the pads.
