Writing robot code

Hi
I’m interested in purchasing a robotics training kit with not just the construction of a robot but more importantly the software and guide lines on how to write code. I’m just not sure which one to go for.
I have a few years experience in operating large industrial ABB 6 axis robots (IRC5 software). I want to develop my knowledge in writing the code itself and give myself more of an understand on how robots are coded within a manufacturing environment.
Ideally something along the lines of a pick and place robot training kit with guild lines on how to write code also software included.

Thanks,
Tony.

Hi Tony,

We do not currently offer any “industrial/manufacturing” grade robotic arms, but we do have some products that are closer to it than hobbyist-level kits.

Here are a few that may interest you.

Specifically, the RB-Sro-01/RB-Sro-02. They have superb capabilities and great accuracy and repeatability! They can also be controlled by setting sequences and movement points and other parameters, very similarly to manufacturing robots, where you defined a series of sequences and call them up when required.

We hope this helps.

Sincerely,
