Just a quickie,
What is the main purpose of the Sabertooth board? Would I be able to drive continuous rotational servos just using the Bot Board II?

Driving brushed DC motors / DC gear motors
You would not use the Sabertooth for continuous rotation servos - you can connect the servo to the Bot Board but power them separately since the microcontroller itself cannot provide enough current when the servo encounters a load (the Bot Board can rotate the servo sitting on a table without a load, but as soon as you apply some resistance, you risk burning the electronics).
