Wireless remote controlled target turning system

I want to build a pistol target turning system that is activated by a wireless remote control. It will need to support/turn a target that is about 10 pounds total weight, constructed of a metal frame with cardboard insert. It will need to turn from an edge position (sideways) to a face position. I am new to robotics and the type of controllers that are normally used to control them. Can you direct me to what type of motor ( servo or other) that would be the correct size to handle the weight? What type of remote could be used? I have seen a product that controls a target with a remote the size of a car key fob… any help would be greatly appreciated Scott McWilliams

Do you mean “positioning system”? That would be something like this (max 40 pounds):

This is wired, but take into consideration that if you are talking about an actual weapon, going wireless creates quite a bit of danger.

If you only need pan (motor, power and controller sold separately):

If neither of these suit your application, can you describe it more?
