Wireless Gamepad v2.2 for Arduino to control PhantomX Hexapod!

has anyone ever configured the ‘Wireless Gamepad v2.2 for Arduino’ to operate/replace the commander for a PhantomX Hexapod control? It seems this Ps2 style XBee compatible controller does not (or am I missing something) seem to have as many buttons defined in software as are physically present on the controller!

I’m trying to remap the buttons to match the PhantomX controller and am stumbling a bit here… :frowning:

Hi,

  1. Is this the controller you are asking for ?
  2. When you say

Are you referring to this Arduino example code ?

yes, and yes… I’m attempting to map those controls (you identified) over to
this controller running the Phoenix code as adjusted by Kurt (and crew) …that being this arduino code. It’s a matter of identifying the differences in pin-outs as the hardware is assembled. The schematic of the ps controller doesn’t identify the buttons specifically…have to cross-ref the list as you linked.
…was hoping to no re-invent the wheel. This controller would allow me to include more function and more ‘poses’ from a hand held controller vs the oem config’ed ‘open cage’ unit of the PhantomX Hexapod running a modified (recompiled) version of the Phoenix code.
