Wireless Air Flow rate tracking from a pneumatic line

Hi there hope this is a good place to ask. I am needing to track the air flow rate on around 140 3/8 pneumatic air lines. i would need the data to be sent wireless to a master computer as each sensor would not have network for it. each sensor would have 24v available if needed but battery power is preferred. looking for some toughs on sensors and wireless networks that would work. any help is appropriated

You’re on the right track by considering wireless sensors for your setup. For your application, you could look into wireless air flow sensors that support industrial IoT protocols like LoRaWAN or Zigbee. These protocols are designed for low-power, long-range communication, making them suitable for environments where network access is limited. Sensors like the Sensirion SDP800 series might meet your needs, and paired with a LoRa gateway, they could transmit data to your master computer effectively. Battery-powered options are available, but if you have 24V available, you might gain reliability by using it. It’s also worth considering a mesh network to ensure data integrity across all 140 lines.
