Wire dressing for multiple legs

Any techniques for neatly dressing the servo wires for the Hitec servos? I could aways use zip-ties, but I’m curious if there are better ways?

Thanks,

I’ve got some flexible, coordinated plastic tubing that is split down it’s length. Check electronics supply houses.

Most people are using mesh sleeving with a little heat shrink tubing at the end where it’s frayed.

Braided sleeving provides the cleanest looking appearance in my opinion. The best place to buy products for all your wire/cabling needs is cableorganizer.com .

Here is a link to the braided sleeving:

Just ordered 40’, amazing the shipping cost more than the product!

what size do you guys normally use 3/8" or 1/2", I’m thinking I borked up the order and went too small!

I haven’t used these yet but If it were me, I would use 1/4" size even if that means I have to remove the receptacle to get it on. For me personally, I would want a size that fits as close as possible. I’m not sure what size Zenta used on his Apod, but your small size should look very good.

I’m using different sizes. But they are between 4 - 8mm (measured outher diameter flat and streched). My last order was from here, I ordered the 6 and 10 mm version. I found the 10mm a bit large, the 6mm was very fine for 2 - 4 servos (total 6 - 12 wires). Next time I’m gonna order the 3mm and 8mm version (just for testing), the 3mm will probably be to small for the servo connector but I often end up shorten or extend the servo wires and replace the connector anyway…

iv been using 6-8mm expandable Braided Polyester Sleeving for cables. a good UK supplier.
Other sizes available - 5mm - 6mm - 10mm - 12mm - 15mm - 20mm - 25mm - 30mm - 40mm.
