Windows 10 SSC-32U not FOUND - works on Windows XP

Has this problem been resolved: robotshop.com/forum/topic-t12603 ?
I have been trying to run the ssc32 servo sequencer utility with my new SSC32U/AL5D.
When I open the servo sequencer utility, the “AUTO” light just keeps blinking and never indicates “FOUND”, even after all the appropriate setup steps have been taken.
I have carried out all the suggestions mentioned in this post, to no avail
My laptop is seeing the com port as USB serial port COM3(via Device Manager), and I’ve set the baud rate to 115200 to match the Sequencer Utility and the SSC32 (which I changed from the default 9600 to 115200 using the push button,as described in the manual)
I am running on a new laptop with Windows 10.
I am very anxious to resolve this issue ASAP, as I need to get acquainted with my AL5D operation.

I have just now loaded the Sequencer Utility onto my old Windows XP laptop. Keeping all settings the same as my previous attempts with my Windows 10 laptop, the Sequencer was able to FIND the SSC32U and successfully communicate with it.
However, I would still prefer to be using my new Windows 10 laptop and look forward for a solution?

Hi Allan,

While most of our users have not reported any issue with Windows 10, the SSC-32 sequencer utility is not officially compatible with it. That being said, it does seem to work in most cases but since we have very little details concerning failures on Windows 10 we are unsure of how to reproduce your issue.

It may be worth a try to manually install the following FTDI VCP drivers and then manually update the drivers of the COM port using those.

Any other details you can provide would be very helpful in investigating this issue.

Sincerely,

I had actually downloaded and used these drivers when first testing.
I tried again today and still no success…
The Windows Device Manager shows that the FTD drivers are installed and operating properly. I did, however, have to manually set their baud rate from default 115200 to 9600 to match the FlowBotics setting (Bluetooth icon ON)
Is their any other info I can give you? Perhaps some of the other members here who have Windows 10 can conduct a test?

Here is a link to a solution for this issue.

Thanks for the information.
