Will this thing fly?

I need some input on a parts list for my hexacopter project. Please see the attached shopping cart.

Is there anything else I need to get this drone flying? I have a 915mhz controller already.

I’m sure I’m missing little things like nuts and bolts.

Thank you in advance!
Andrew

Not sure if the picture worked… Here is a link to the photo in my google drive:

Hi Andrew,

In your list, you took 8 motors but this is an Hexacopter with Six motor mount. Are you looking to have two spare motors ?
What kind of transmitter do you have as most systems work on 2.4gHz, just want to make sure it will work with the flight controller. Also note that the frame do not come with a landing gear.

Here are two other Tarot frames:
Tarot 690 Folding Carbon Fiber Hexacopter Frame
Tarot 680 PRO Folding Hexacopter Frame
You might want to use a bigger battery and also in 4s instead of 3s.
The datasheet of this motor give good numbers for a 11" propeller run on a 4s battery.
14.8V, 4000mAh, 40C, 4S LiPo Battery
11" x 5" Black Thin Electric CW Propeller Pair
11" x 5" Black Thin Electric CCW Propeller Pair
XT60 Nylon Connector (Pair)

Thanks DialFonZo!

Yes the motors are for backups. If anyone can chime in on failure rates I might drop that to 7 motors (1 backup).

For the controller I have a 915mhz RC programmable remote. So I guess I need a radio module to plug into the pixhawk… I will be building my own transceivers operating at 490mhz later on for this project but for testing and getting it off the ground I think I just need to buy something off the shelf.

Thanks for the recommendations on battery. I will look at that one.

The props were just stand-ins… I will most likely order the props these motors were tested with on the data sheet (they are on amazon).

Thanks for the help!
