Why two versions of the basic kit on the website?

There are two versions of the Basic kit on the website. What is the difference between the two? One is about $20 more than the other.

Also, do either of them come with the lipo battery?

Ok, i’m assuming the more expensive one is version 1.5? if so, I found this:

Differences between V1.0 and V1.5:
• Added: RoHS compliance
• Added: Onboard LiPo charger via USB port

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. You are correct. Neither basic kit includes the LiPo battery; only the V1.5 Bluetooth and V1.5 XBee kits include aLiPo battery, though for ~$10 is can be purchased in addition to the basic kit.
