Which kit should I buy?

Hello…

I’m interested in building a Maqueen robot with grippers and “vision” which I can program and control via my PC.

However, being registered blind (but with a small amount of residual sight) and in my early 70s, this may prove challenging!

What do I need to buy from you to complete my “bucket list” task?

I’m presuming I’ll need one of your kits, but I’m unsure of the full requirements to achieve my goal.

I’m assuming that the micro:Maqueen Plus V2 (18650 Battery) with HUSKYLENS SKU:MBT0021-EN-18650-1 (£89.59) will provide all of the basics except the “gripper” option, but will the LG-NS Robot Gripper (With Servo) SKU:ROB0073 (£29.91) fit on the above kit?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated…

Hi @GrumpyTyke13 and welcome to our forum.

You have an interesting project.

I’ve found this photo from DFRobot website:

According to it, you would need following:

and a gripper/s!

DFRobot offers these grippers that will fit directly on the robot, but unfortunately RobotShop is not selling these:

I am not sure if LG-NS Robot Gripper (With Servo) will easily fit. This needs more investigation.

I hope this helps.

Feel free to ask anything else.
